Bowood is the perfect destination resort for families, offering a multitude of activities for all ages in all weathers. Interconnecting doors are available in several of the rooms to provide family suites whilst for larger family groups, Queenwood lodge would be the ideal answer,
A night’s stay in the Hotel or Queenwood Lodge includes the following throughout your stay:
- Use of the amazing Adventure playground*
- Entry to Bowood House with its interesting historic collections*
- Entry to Bowood Gardens where you’ll find water cascades, grottos, stunning parkland and an arboretum*
- Use of the beautiful Spa (Children are welcome in the Spa as follows: Weekdays 3.45pm to 5.00pm, Weekends 8.30am to10.00am)
- Complimentary use of the Academy Golf Course, perfect for children
- Golf on the Championship course for the adults and the better junior players
Children of 12 years and over are welcome to dine in the Shelburne Restaurant. Younger children can be accommodated in our family friendly Brasserie, where highchairs can be provided on request. We have cots available for use in the rooms. If you would like to enjoy an evening without the children please ask about the complimentary baby monitors we offer.
